Jan ?vankmajer (*4. September 1934, Prague) is a great Czech surrealist, one of the most celebrated animators in the world. His creations have influenced other artist such as Tim Burton or Terry Gilliam and many others.
This video is from his memorably bizarre screen version of Lewis Carroll's novel "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass".
Enjoy!
Mysteries of a Barbershop (Die Mysterien eines Frisiersalons) 1922, is a comic, slapstick German film of 33 minutes, created by Bertolt Brecht, directed by Erich Engel, and starring the Munich cabaret clown, Karl Valentin and leading stage actor Erwin Faber.
I'm sorry, I didn't get the whole footage of this Brecht's film.
