Freshman quarterback Ryan Mallett said he wasn't nervous before his first start against Notre Dame. He said he felt he ran the offense well but there is still room for improvement before next week's game against Penn State.

Michigan running back Mike Hart said the team played "Michigan football" to gain its 38-0 shutout of Notre Dame. He said the team stayed focused but had fun all week.
U-M lineman Adam Kraus says the Wolverines have to stick together as a team following the loss to Oregon. Michigan will play another 0-2 team, Notre Dame on Saturday, September 15.
