a Brief rundown on starting the PMDG. Not from cold and dark. Just some basic themes: FMC setup before engine start, quick Overhead Panel prestart flow through check, Engine start, use of Flight Director, Autothrottle and MCP and LNAV/VNAV systems on takeoff.

Filmed in a Homemade Full size cockpit simulator of a 747-400, more information at www.worldflight.ozfl ight.com.au The simulator runs of Aerowings PS1.3 747-400 Flight Simulator for the aerodynamics and systems, and Flight Simulator 2004 for the scenery visuals. The cockpit is a very close replica of a real 747-400 cockpit and functions much the same.
