This is a short video clip of the USS Wood (DD-715) being refueled by the USS Saratoga (CV-60) during the 1976 Med. cruise. This is the last cruise of the USS Wood before it was decommissioned later that December.

When we arrived at the USS Yorktown one of it's former crew members welcomed us with a lengthy introduction about the ship and it's history. While he was speaking I was taping, and if you listen closely you can catch him asking if I'm listening.

Seeing the whole ship, and wandering around inside, well it's just a beautiful thing.
Building the Enterprise from the inside out has been an extreme challenge. I'm just not sure what to do with it next: any suggestions?
I'd like it if people were able to wander thru the model, but I'm not sure how to accomplish this, especially with the copyright issues.
