just a little of what i have learned about lipos over the last little while. this is not to be taken as law as i am still learning and make lots of mistakes
ok so I can crash and crash and crash again. one thing all this crashing has done for me is given me an uncanny ablity to rebuild my heli in very short order with little or no parts. this crash broke the frame in 4 places killed the tail bent the main shaft broke the feather shaft.
i took care setting it up. i took time test flying it. i hit the idle up switch andn blew the thing to peices. so the helitopsie came back with a stripped ball link and pulled out of the linkage. so i guess good advice is to give a little pull on the linkages after a crash.oh well Live Learn and fly.
Well if you have been following along you know that i have had problems keeping this Girl in the air. removed and replaced every screw locked up tight now. So just have to avoid the fatel pilot error;}
first sucsess full 3d flight with a walkera 36 until the wheels fell off (well screws fell out)and it full powered into the ground never broke landing gear into seven bits before.
so I have a half dozen flights and the thing started falling apart in mid air, the rear stabalizer brace fell off just after a flip and was hanging straight down from the heli making landing interesting. don't think i will buy another RTF
