Video clips from between 12:45 and 1:45 AM on election night on U Street from 11th to 14th St. There was an informal PARTY in the streets - people were EVERYWHERE, dancing and cheering, hi-fiving, hugging, smiling ... it was AWESOME!
This is the 1st version (there are two versions of the video, not sure which is better quality on youtube but the sound was optimized a little in the 2nd)
On U Street, there was a crazy informal street party ... people were giddy and unified, dancing and cheering in the streets, everywhere. It was amazing to be there. This is History. Here is some drumming and dancing at 18th & U around 1:30 AM ...
