These two pitchers were recognized in front of a sell-out crowd in Vero Beach Florida on March 25th, 2007. Here's the clip I took before game during award ceremony.
This clip was taken on March 2nd at Hillsborough HS. Nevin Griffith and Michael Burgess battled it out all night! It's hard to say who got the best of the matchup. On one 11 pitch AB, Burgess kept fouling off 93MPH fastballs that were great pitches and eventually walked. Griffith turned in stellar outing in Middelton win! He is Satchel Page born again!
This pitcher threw 98MPH deep into the game today with effective hammers and change-ups. He was 97-98 numerous pitches in the 6th, 7th and 8th innings. Incredible showing and very reminiscent of a young Roger Clemens with the explosive FBs and sinking fastballs, to boot. This may be the answer Cashman is looking for, IMHO. FWIW
This switch-hitting second baseman is the next Roberto Alomar. Today, 3/3/07, this 2010 was hitting bombs from each side of the plate in front of several professional baseball representatives. Tremendous Tampa area prospect!!!
This LHP is very good! Above average major league velocity with great command on all pitches. He and Wade Davis could be in the starting rotation for several other teams.
Roger Clemens is the "Real Deal" at 44 years of age. IMHO, he's got at least this year and next year. Only time will tell, but I believe he will never give up. What a competitor this man is. My hero, da Rocket!
I say yes without hesitation. Chamberlain is ready for a start. That's what got him there and his role could be much more important with a spot in the rotation in post season play. Get Joba ready as a starter now and he will help the Yankees win it all, IMHO.
This is Reginald Williams in cages the night before the field footage at 10:00 on a friday night! This is every day with these players. If there not practicing on the field, they're in the cages hitting. They love it!!!!
